The Rhydywaun Windows 1999

Three hundred students produced designs to decorate the large glass front and other areas of the school. Text and imagery were combined with a colour scheme, to help identify various areas for new pupils.

The theme of the work was to do with looking out into the future, through the eyes of the past. Pupils were asked to bring in old images of their parents and guardians, when they were at the same age as the present pupils. The adults also had to contribute a little story or thought about what they remembered and hoped for when they were young.

This project was initiated by Chapter & Opt For Art.
